Dainik india news;A court in Varanasi has issued a notice again on Saturday on a review petition that demanded the registration of a criminal case against Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi for allegedly making controversial comments regarding the Kashi Vishwanath temple-Gyanvapi mosque dispute. Earlier on March 28, the court had issued a notice to them, but due to no appearance in the court, the court has issued a notice again. It is noteworthy that this review petition has been filed by a lawyer from Varanasi, Hari Shankar Pandey, as his previous petition was dismissed by the court stating that Yadav and Owaisi had not committed any cognizable offense.
It is against this order that the Additional District Judge Anuradha Kushwaha’s court has registered the review petition. It is noteworthy that the petitioner (Advocate Hari Shankar Pandey) has alleged in his petition that Yadav and Owaisi made a controversial comment by allegedly making ‘disputed’ remarks about the Shiv Ling structure inside the Gyanvapi mosque complex, thereby hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus.
