“We will improve the image and make Uttar Pradesh better in the National Legislators Conference.”-mahana
Dainik india news Lucknow: The Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Satish Mahana, has said that the presence of MLAs in the National Legislators’ Conference to be held on 15, 16, and 17 June in Mumbai will work to improve the image of Uttar Pradesh. Several sessions will be organized during which many important issues related to legislation will be discussed. Along with this, discussions will be held on various subjects related to public interest. On this occasion, today, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Shri Satish Mahana, also released a book based on the introduction of members of the Legislative Assembly.
During a recent press conference at the Vidhan Bhavan, Purushottam Das Tandon said that former Lok Sabha Speakers will also participate in the conference. All legislative assembly members, legal experts, and civil society activists from all states will be included. More and more members of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council are being encouraged to participate in this conference. Discussions will be held on several global issues during the organization of several sessions. This will provide an opportunity for lawmakers from different states to get to know and understand each other.
Mr. Mahana said that around 160 legislators have registered so far to participate in this three-day conference organized by the M.I.T. School of Government and the Indian Student Parliament.
