Dainik india news :The trends are out for all the 224 seats in the Karnataka Assembly. In the trends released by the Election Commission, the trend of the last 38 years in Karnataka does not seem to be changing. As per the trend, once again the government in the state has been changing. In the trends, the Congress has crossed the majority mark by taking a big lead. Congress is leading on 124 seats and BJP on 70 seats.
Congress victory in Karnataka and PM Modi’s defeat
As voting continues in the Congress. Congress seems to be getting majority. On this trend, the party has said that it has been decided in Karnataka that Congress has won and Prime Minister Modi has lost.
Karnataka Result 2023: According to the figures of the Election Commission, Congress has got majority in Karnataka. In the trends of 223 seats received so far, Congress is leading on 115 seats. Whereas BJP is ahead on 72 seats. JDS is leading on 30 seats. Apart from this, Independents are ahead in three seats and NCP, KRP and SKP in one seat each.
2615 candidates on 224 seats in Karnataka
There are a total of 5.21 crore voters in Karnataka. In this assembly elections, 73.19 percent polling has been done. Whereas in 2018, 72.36 percent votes were cast. In this election, BJP got 36.22 percent and Congress got 38.04 percent votes. There are 2615 candidates in the fray for 224 assembly seats. There are 2.59 crore female and 2.62 crore male voters in the state. Out of total voters, 16,976 voters are above 100 years of age. Apart from this, there are 4,699 transgenders.
Apart from this in 2018 Assembly Elections: Hung assembly, three chief ministers found. The total voter turnout in the 2018 Karnataka Assembly elections was 72.10%. In this, 72.68% men, 71.53% women and 10% third gender voters cast their votes. No party got a clear majority in the 224-seat assembly. BJP became the single largest party by winning 104 seats. The party got a total of 36.22 per cent votes.
In 2018 Assembly Elections, Congress got 80 seats in its account. However, its vote share was more than that of BJP at 38.04 per cent. 37 candidates of JDS won the election. It got a total of 18.36 per cent votes. Being the single largest party, the BJP got a chance to form the government. BS Yeddyurappa became the Chief Minister. However, Yeddyurappa could not prove his majority and had to relinquish the chair within six days.
And in 2013 Assembly Elections: Congress gets clear majority, Siddaramaiah became CM
in the 2013 assembly elections, 71.45 percent votes were cast. In this, 72.40% males, 70.47% females and 2% others cast their vote. The Congress party had registered a one-sided victory in the 224-seat assembly. The party won 122 seats in this election. The Congress got a total of 36.59 per cent votes. Siddaramaiah became the Chief Minister.
And the BJP suffered the loss of BS Yeddyurappa’s rebellion. He got 40 seats in his account. The party got only 19.89 percent votes. At the same time, JDS won 40 seats. He was voted by 20.19 percent of the voters.
