Noida/Jewar, Special Correspondent, Dainik India News: The inauguration of the Noida International Airport on the soil of Uttar Pradesh emerged not merely as an infrastructural milestone, but as a resounding proclamation of an ascendant nation’s aspirations, when the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in his eloquent and emphatic address, underscored the gravity of the prevailing global milieu. He remarked that the conflagrations raging in West Asia are now casting their ominous repercussions across the entire world—engendering multifaceted crises such as food insecurity, disruptions in energy supply chains, and pervasive economic volatility. Against this ominous backdrop, his cautionary assertion emerged as the most pivotal element of the discourse—why did the Prime Minister characterize misinformation and rumors as the most insidious invisible threat to the nation?
The Prime Minister explicated that India, being a substantial importer of crude oil, cannot remain impervious to such global turbulence. Nevertheless, the government’s farsighted and judicious policies are ensuring that the ramifications of this crisis are mitigated to the greatest extent possible for the common citizenry, agrarian communities, and marginalized sections of society. He exhorted citizens to eschew the labyrinth of unverified information, emphasizing that in the digital epoch, the proliferation of rumors can exacerbate any crisis into a formidable catastrophe.
At the outset of his address, the Prime Minister extended his felicitations to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, the Deputy Chief Minister, and other distinguished dignitaries, describing the occasion as a “golden chapter in the aviation saga of New India.” He reminisced that inaugurating a project whose foundation stone he himself had laid stands as a vivid testament to the journey from resolve to realization.
Elucidating the rapid developmental trajectory of Western Uttar Pradesh, the Prime Minister highlighted transformative initiatives such as semiconductor manufacturing units, the Namo Bharat train, the Meerut Metro expansion, and now this international airport—collectively epitomizing the efficacy and resolute commitment of the “double-engine government.” He further stated that the airport will, in due course, attain a capacity wherein an aircraft could take off every two minutes—an indication of its magnitude and strategic significance.
Referring to Dadri as the confluence of the nation’s two principal freight corridors, he asserted that Northern India’s industrial and agricultural productivity has now attained unprecedented connectivity with the maritime coasts of Bengal and Gujarat. This multimodal logistical framework will unlock new avenues of prosperity for farmers and industries alike, enabling local produce to secure a competitive foothold in global markets.
Taking a veiled swipe at preceding administrations, the Prime Minister remarked that Noida, once reduced to a “loot-driven ATM,” has now metamorphosed into the epicenter of Uttar Pradesh’s economic renaissance. He recalled that despite receiving approval in 2003, the project languished in neglect for years; however, post-2014, synergized governance at both the central and state levels has propelled it with unprecedented alacrity, culminating in its present realization.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath characterized the project as a historic accomplishment, asserting that it stands as tangible evidence of the “accelerated velocity of the double-engine framework,” which will elevate the state to new pinnacles of investment, employment generation, and industrial advancement. Meanwhile, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu delineated plans to develop the region into a burgeoning “aerotropolis,” envisaging it as a nucleus of global trade, logistics, and high-skill employment opportunities in the near future.
The Prime Minister further identified cities such as Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Etawah, and Bulandshahr as beneficiaries of this catalytic development, asserting that the airport will not merely facilitate aviation but will also endow wings to the aspirations of a “Developed India.”
Subsequent to the program, the National President of the Rashtriya Sanatan Mahasangh extended his cordial felicitations to eminent film producer Boney Kapoor on his arrival in Uttar Pradesh from Mumbai, while expressing gratitude toward the state government, the Deputy Chief Minister, and the entire council of ministers under the “double-engine” dispensation.
