Climate Conclave 2023: Announcement by Chief Minister Yogi, 35 crore plants to be planted in July in UP.

Harindra singh dainik india news lucknow:Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced that 35 crore trees will be planted throughout the state of Uttar Pradesh in July during the two-day National Climate Conclave 2023. He stated that while development is crucial, responsibility towards the environment and nature cannot be ignored. Climate change is a major challenge facing the world, as seen in the past years with untimely rainfall resulting in detrimental consequences. India has a tradition of being environmentally conscious, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi is leading the country in showcasing new methods of environmental conservation. Uttar Pradesh is following suit by continuously working in this direction, having planted 133 crore trees since 2017. The positive attitude towards environmental conservation is now evident among the state’s people. These statements were made by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while inaugurating the two-day National Climate Conclave 2023 at the Indira Gandhi Institute.
